During the day there will be an opportunity to visit places of local interest, Glastonbury with its Abbey and Tor, not to mention Wells, Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge – just so much to cram in. Maybe even a late night walk.

Our accommodation sleeps 15. We are about a mile away from the famous Gorge. Cheddar Gorge is situated in the Mendip Hills.
Walking: There is a clifftop walk at the Gorge and many other walks around Cheddar – including the Black Down walk, the Strawberry Line, Cheddar Reservoir walk.
Cycling: The Strawberry Line is actually part of the national cycle network, and is a biking and walking trail that spans from Yatton to about a mile past Cheddar. You can rent a bike in Cheddar and cycle the route. This is a linear walk/cycle ride so you can pick whatever distance you feel comfortable with.
Places to visit: Wells with it’s Cathedral, Bishops Palace.  Glastonbury Tor, the caves at Wookey Hole and the Nature Reserves at Avalon Marshes are not far away.
